THE BRITISH BEEF BACKSTAGE GIG AKA ‘LITTLE BRITAIN’

What on earth is that they ask?

Pray do tell….

You know those unplugged gigs in quieter pubs – the ones with the two or three guys sitting down with acoustic guitars doing only acoustic songs with books in front of them – i.e. the same booooring shit every night because there are only a limited number of (non-ballad) acoustic rock songs of general appeal.   Yeah… 10 years of that is more than enough.   Enter the British Beef backstage gig AKA Little Britain. Imagine a full rock gig with blaring guitars but without the immense volume.  The idea popped into our heads whilst we were rehearsing with smaller equipment backstage for a larger gig – little 10 watt amps and a Cajon – a percussion instrument that can sound remarkably like a drum kit when played correctly.

So, goodbye unplugged and welcome Backstage gigs.
